J-School Journals, formerly known as Student Documentary Night, is a mini-film festival held on the campus of Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. Senior broadcast journalism students write and produce documentaries in class, and the best of the best are chosen.
Students, in teams of two, spend the semester working on their documentaries. They learn the documentary-making process hands-on, and some go to great lengths to get the best footage possible. At the end of the semester, everyone is anxious to see their hard work displayed on the screen.
But, until Friday, December 3, stay tuned to get a behind-the-scenes look at their voyage. Follow the four teams during their final weeks of film making and editing. Read their stories, connect with them, and ask them questions.
